water cast hoops | small
A new Everyday Hoop! Light and easy.
Slightly irregular hand formed brass hoops on a silver water cast droplet stud.
Two delicate layered hoops on each earring. Each water cast silver droplet is slightly different in texture and shape. Hoop size: .75” diameter.
Water casting is a technique that involves melting metal in a crucible, and pouring it into cold water. You will get different results depending on the temperature of the water, the height from which you pour, and how fast you pour. For me this process has been an excellent way to reuse scrap material.
Sterling silver posts and backings.
